Through research and direct observation, ARTZ has demonstrated that art experiences can significantly reduce certain psycho-behavioral symptoms so often associated with Alzheimer's disease.
Working within the scientific community we seek to find new ways to look at Alzheimer's and find common sense solutions that enhance lives.

"I'm Still Here" Exhibit Opens in San Francisco
ARTZ & Science Exhibit, San Francisco, CA; 2011 - Present
The paintings, poems, and photographs have been installed for the current ARTZ "I'm Still Here: Alzheimer's and Creative Expression" exhibition in San Francisco, CA. Seven artists participated in this project. The goal of this exhibit is to educate scientists and biotech organizations about theinner spirit and immense creative capacities of people diagnosed with dementia.
